Social Value Commitment
How we approach our obligations under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 as an NHS and public sector supplier.
As a supplier to NHS Trusts and public sector bodies, we recognise our obligations under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 and the NHS's own social value procurement priorities. Every contract we hold with a public body is an opportunity to deliver value beyond the immediate transaction, whether through local employment, environmental responsibility, or community engagement.
We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our supply chain, including working toward reduced packaging waste and more efficient consolidated deliveries to reduce transport emissions across Trust deliveries. We also prioritise UK-based logistics and warehousing partnerships, supporting domestic employment within our supply chain wherever practical.
We're happy to discuss specific social value commitments as part of any tender submission or framework renewal, including measurable KPIs your Trust may require for its own social value reporting.
