Sterile Single Use
Our sterile single-use surgical instruments are individually packaged, pre-sterilised, and ready for immediate use — eliminating the need for reprocessing between procedures. Supplied through the NHS Supply Chain framework, our range covers scissors, forceps, complete instrument sets, suction tubes, retractors, and specialist podiatry and gynaecological instruments, all manufactured to UKCA and CE MDR standards. Browse by instrument type below, or download our full brochure for detailed specifications.
What are sterile single-use surgical instruments?
Pre-sterilised instruments designed for one procedure only, then disposed of, removing the need for on-site sterilisation and reducing cross-contamination risk.
Are these instruments NHS Supply Chain approved?
Many products in this range are available through our NHS Supply Chain approval. Availability varies by reference code, so please check with our team or your account manager for specific items. CE MDR marking applies to all applicable products.
What's the difference between single-use and reusable instruments?
Single-use instruments are sterilised once and discarded after use; reusable instruments are designed to be cleaned, re-sterilised, and used multiple times. Both ranges are available from OscarTech.
Can we set up a trade account for bulk ordering?
Yes. NHS Trusts, clinics and private hospitals can register for a trade account with negotiated pricing on bulk orders.
Couldn't find what you're looking for?
